Throughout the development of MHAT, our team completed a comprehensive research review designed to select and adapt the most effective psychiatric interviews and questionnaires for electronic administration. This process identified several psychiatric interviews with established psychometric properties, which serve as the foundation of MHAT’s modules. Each module is meticulously designed to assess the central symptoms of the psychiatric condition being assessed, ensuring a precise and thorough assessment. The tool’s algorithmic backbone enhances clinicians’ decision-making process, guiding professionals through a tailored assessment based on a patient’s responses.
